In terms of design, what does the future hold for us?
I think the future, in terms of design, is going to be a reaction to the materials and the systems available in the market. Which is now improving so rapidly that we really are starting to mix-and-match the aeronautical and automotive industries with building. I think that's a huge leap forward in terms of technology.
We're developing our designs in three dimensions – using three-dimensional software to actually generate the output, the drawings, and to design, really design as opposed to just using as presentation tools. And I think that brings with it a whole new perception of space and the ability to create models which are truly awe-inspiring. The buildings we're doing now are natural contenders for classy interiors in terms of volumetric space and creating special features just through simple elegance of space.
